Most of the posts on this site are now a few years old, as lately my free time is mostly spent caring for kiddos. I like spending time on rivers, stalking animals, brewing beer, curing and smoking meat, fixing pinball machines, and learning about the cold places of the world, and this site contains stories from some of those pursuits. My wife and I live in Montana with our two little ones and other family nearby.
